This G-Frame breaker is designed for use in Eaton Series C panelboards, motor control centers, and OEM enclosures. It can also be mounted on a standard DIN rail when paired with the appropriate Eaton adapter plate.
What wire sizes are accepted by the standard lugs on the GHC3090?
The factory-installed line and load lugs accept wire gauges ranging from 14 AWG to 1/0 AWG. Ensure you use properly rated copper or aluminum conductors as required by standard electrical codes for a 90-amp circuit.
Is the Eaton GHC3090 suitable for reverse feed applications?
Yes, Eaton Series C G-Frame circuit breakers, including the GHC3090, are suitable for reverse feed use. They are also HACR rated for heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration applications.

Yes. Eaton acquired both Cutler-Hammer and the Westinghouse distribution equipment lines. The current Eaton GHC3090 is a direct, drop-in replacement for legacy Cutler-Hammer and Westinghouse breakers bearing the exact same GHC3090 catalog number.
Does the GHC3090 provide ground fault or arc fault protection?
No. This breaker features a standard thermal magnetic trip unit designed strictly for overload and short circuit protection. It does not contain GFCI or AFCI circuitry.
What does the 480Y/277VAC voltage rating indicate for installation?
The slash rating of 480Y/277VAC means this breaker is approved for use on solidly grounded wye systems where the line-to-ground voltage does not exceed 277 volts. It is not rated for use on 480V ungrounded or corner grounded delta systems.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
