The ED3125V is an F-Frame molded case circuit breaker designed specifically for Eaton Series C panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers. It is not UL listed for use in panels from other manufacturers.
What does the V suffix mean in the ED3125V catalog number?
The V suffix indicates that the breaker features a special 50C (122F) ambient temperature calibration. Standard Eaton Series C breakers without the V suffix are calibrated for 40C (104F).
Does the ED3125V include both line and load terminals?
The standard ED3125V comes equipped with load side lugs only, as the line side is typically bolted directly to the panel bus. If your application requires no terminals or line side terminals, you would need a variant with a W (no terminals) or Y (line terminals only) suffix.
Can the ED3125V replace a standard ED3125 circuit breaker?
Yes, it shares the exact same physical F-Frame dimensions and bolt-on mounting as the standard ED3125. However, the ED3125V is calibrated for a 50C ambient temperature, which may slightly alter thermal tripping characteristics if used in a standard 40C environment.
Can I install this breaker in a GE or Siemens panel if it physically fits?
No. Even if the breaker physically fits, the ED3125V is not UL classified for use in GE, Siemens, or other competitor panels. It must be installed in an approved Eaton or Cutler-Hammer enclosure to maintain safety and compliance.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
