This G-Frame breaker is designed for use in Eaton Series C panelboards, motor control centers, and OEM enclosures. It can also be installed on a standard 35mm DIN rail when paired with the appropriate Eaton mounting adapter.
Is the Eaton GHC1070 the same as the Cutler-Hammer GHC1070?
Yes. Eaton acquired Cutler-Hammer and continues to manufacture the Series C G-Frame breakers under the Eaton brand. The GHC1070 is an exact drop-in replacement for older Cutler-Hammer branded units with the same catalog number.
Can the GHC1070 be mounted on a DIN rail?
Yes. While it is natively a unit mount, feed-thru breaker, it can be installed on a standard 35mm DIN rail by using a compatible Eaton Series C DIN rail adapter kit.
Does the GHC1070 include ground fault or arc fault protection?
No. This is a standard thermal magnetic breaker with fixed long-time and instantaneous trip functions. It does not provide GFCI or AFCI protection.
What wire sizes are accepted by the lugs on the GHC1070?
The factory-installed lugs accept wire ranging from 10 AWG to 1/0 AWG. Ensure proper torque specifications are followed during installation as outlined by the manufacturer.
Is the GHC1070 interchangeable with GHB breakers?
No. While both are Series C G-Frame breakers, the GHC is a unit mount, feed-thru breaker, whereas the GHB is a bolt-on breaker designed for direct bus connection in Eaton panelboards. They mount differently and are not interchangeable.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
