The EB3080 is designed for use in Eaton Pow-R-Line C panelboards and legacy Westinghouse panelboards that accept E-frame bolt-on breakers.
What type of conductors can be terminated on the EB3080?
The included lugs are dual-rated for both copper and aluminum conductors, accepting wire sizes from 14 AWG up to 1/0 AWG. Ensure proper torque is applied during installation as specified on the breaker label.
Is the EB3080 suitable for DC circuits?
Yes, in addition to its 240VAC rating, this breaker is rated for 250VDC applications, providing a 5kAIC interrupting capacity for direct current systems.
Are the trip settings on the EB3080 adjustable?
No, this breaker uses a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. Both the long-time overload and instantaneous short-circuit functions are factory set and cannot be modified in the field.
Is the Westinghouse EB3080 the same as the Eaton EB3080?
Yes. Eaton acquired the Westinghouse distribution equipment business, so breakers marked as Cutler-Hammer, Westinghouse, or Eaton with the EB3080 catalog number are the same physical and electrical product.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
