Description
Part of the classic M-Frame lineup, the Eaton MA3225S provides 225A of thermal-magnetic protection for 600VAC and 250VDC systems. It installs into legacy Westinghouse PRL4 panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers, serving as an exact fit for aging commercial and industrial setups. Featuring an interchangeable trip unit with adjustable magnetic settings and a Saf-T-Vue window, it delivers 42kAIC interrupting capacity at 240V. This M-frame breaker is designed for installation in Westinghouse PRL4 panelboards, as well as compatible legacy switchboards and motor control centers.
What wire sizes are accepted by the load side lugs on this breaker?
The included load side lugs accept a single aluminum or copper conductor ranging from 3/0 AWG to 500 kcmil.
How is the trip unit configured on the MA3225S?
It features an interchangeable thermal magnetic trip unit with fixed thermal (Long-Time) and adjustable magnetic (Instantaneous) trip functions.
Are Westinghouse and Eaton MA3225S breakers interchangeable?
Yes. Eaton acquired the Westinghouse electrical distribution line. An Eaton, Cutler-Hammer, or Westinghouse MA3225S share the same physical dimensions and electrical characteristics.
Does the MA3225S include lugs on both the line and load sides?
No. This is a bolt-on breaker designed to connect directly to the busbar on the line side. It only includes lug terminals on the load side.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
