Designed to minimize fault damage, the GE TB13030BWE05 is a 30A, 3-pole MCCB. This Tri-Break breaker provides advanced current-limiting capabilities for industrial use. It installs into GE A-Series panelboards, switchboards, and MCCs. The unit-mount design includes line and load lugs, alongside factory-provided current limiters. Featuring a fixed thermal-magnetic trip, it achieves 200 kAIC at 480V. The non-interchangeable design ensures reliable performance during overcurrent events.

Product FAQs
5 answers
What enclosures are compatible with the TB13030BWE05 circuit breaker?
This 30A unit-mount breaker is designed for installation in GE Switchboards, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), and GE A-Series Panelboards.
How does the GE Tri-Break design achieve its high interrupting rating?
The TB13030BWE05 is an integrally fused circuit breaker. It uses factory-assembled current limiters in series with the breaker contacts to safely interrupt extremely high fault currents, achieving up to 200kAIC at 480VAC while minimizing potential damage to downstream equipment.
Do I need to order current limiters separately for the TB13030BWE05?
No, the current limiters are included. GE TB1 frame breakers in this amperage range are shipped fully assembled from the factory with the frame, trip unit, line and load lugs, and current limiters all integrated into a single unit.
Are the line and load lugs included with this breaker?
Yes, this breaker comes factory-assembled with both line and load side lug terminals. The lugs are compatible with 14 to 1/0 AWG copper or aluminum conductors.
Is the trip unit on this 30A breaker adjustable?
No, the TB13030BWE05 features a non-interchangeable thermal-magnetic trip unit. Both the long-time and instantaneous (LI) trip functions are fixed at the factory and cannot be modified in the field.
