The TEY330 is a bolt-on circuit breaker. It attaches securely to the panelboard bus via mounting screws, rather than plugging or snapping onto the bus. Always verify that power is disconnected before bolting the breaker in place.
Can the TEY330 be utilized in direct current (DC) applications?
Yes, the TEY330 is rated for DC applications up to 250VDC, providing an interrupting capacity of 10kA.
What wire sizes and materials are supported by the TEY330 lugs?
The factory-installed lugs accept copper (Cu) or aluminum (Al) wire ranging from 10 AWG to 4 AWG. Be sure to torque the terminals to the specifications listed on the breaker body during installation.

There is no functional difference. ABB acquired GE Industrial Solutions in 2018. New production will typically carry the ABB branding while retaining the original GE TEY330 catalog number, dimensions, and exact performance specifications.

No, the TEY330 utilizes a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip unit. The long-time and instantaneous trip parameters are set at the factory and cannot be adjusted by the user.

No. The TEY330 is a commercial bolt-on breaker for A-Series panelboards. It cannot be used in residential load centers designed for plug-on THQL or bolt-on THQB circuit breakers.

Expedited Shipments
