This breaker is designed for use in GE A-Series lighting panelboards. It bolts directly to the panel bus.
What is the difference between GE TEY and TEYF circuit breakers?
The F in the frame designation indicates a higher short-circuit interrupting rating. Standard TEY breakers are rated for 14kA at 480Y/277VAC, while TEYF breakers provide an upgraded 18kA rating at the same voltage.
Can the TEYF215 be used as a standalone or unit-mount breaker?
Yes. While it is primarily a bolt-on breaker for A-Series panelboards, it can be used in lug-to-lug applications by installing a separate TEY3B mounting base.
Why is this breaker listed under both ABB and General Electric?
ABB acquired GE Industrial Solutions. As a result, TEYF series breakers may be branded as either ABB or GE, but they are the exact same component and are fully interchangeable.
Can the TEYF215 be installed on an ungrounded 480V delta system?
No. This breaker has a slash voltage rating of 480Y/277VAC, meaning it is only rated for use on solidly grounded wye electrical systems where the voltage to ground does not exceed 277V.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
