What frame size is the TJK436175 built on?
It is built on the GE 400A TJK frame, which is part of the J Frame family. Even though it has a 175A trip unit, it uses the physical dimensions and mounting footprint of the 400A J600 line breakers.
What wire sizes are accepted by the lugs on this breaker?
The standard lugs accept either a single conductor from 6 AWG to 600 kcmil or dual conductors from 2/0 AWG to 250 kcmil. They are rated for both copper and aluminum wire.
Can the trip unit be replaced or upgraded on this breaker?
Yes, the TJK436175 features an interchangeable trip unit design. The 175A trip unit can be removed and replaced with other compatible TJK trip units within the 400A frame limit if your load requirements change.

Expedited Shipments
