This Tri-Break circuit breaker is designed for use in GE Switchboards, Motor Control Centers, and GE A-Series Panelboards. It is not intended for standard residential load centers.
Why is the TB13015 listed under both ABB and General Electric?
ABB acquired GE Industrial Solutions. As a result, the TB13015 may ship with either ABB or GE branding, but the physical dimensions, ratings, and mounting are identical.
What does it mean that the TB13015 is a current limiting breaker?
A current limiting breaker like the TB13015 is designed to trip and clear a fault in less than one half cycle. This rapid response significantly reduces the peak let-through current, protecting downstream equipment from severe electrical and mechanical stress during a short circuit.
How is a unit mount breaker like the TB13015 installed?
Unit mount breakers are bolted directly to the backpan or mounting surface of the enclosure. They use a feed-thru connection with lugs for both line and load sides, rather than plugging or bolting onto a panelboard busbar.
Are lugs included with the TB13015, and what wire types are supported?
Yes, the breaker includes factory-installed lugs. They are rated to accept 14 AWG to 1/0 AWG wire and are compatible with both copper (Cu) and aluminum (Al) conductors.
Can I use the TB13015 in a system with a lower fault current than its 200kAIC rating?
Yes. The 200kAIC rating at 480VAC is the maximum fault current the breaker can safely interrupt. It is perfectly safe and compliant to install this breaker in a system with a lower available fault current, such as 65kAIC or 100kAIC.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
