The Q2L series is a legacy product. The modern equivalent is the Square D QBL32150. However, if you are replacing a main breaker in a legacy NQOD panelboard, using the original Q2L32150 preserves the panel's UL listing, which was evaluated specifically for Q2 frames.
Can I install the Q2L32150 in a standard QO or Homeline load center?
No. This is a Q-Frame molded case circuit breaker designed for Square D NQOD panelboards, commercial switchboards, and individual enclosures. It will not fit in residential QO or Homeline load centers.
Does this breaker plug onto a panel busbar?
No. The Q2L32150 is a unit-mount (feed-thru) breaker. It is secured with mounting hardware and uses wire lugs on both the line and load sides rather than connecting directly to a busbar.
Is the Q2L32150 suitable for HVAC applications?
Yes. This breaker is HACR rated, meaning it is approved for use with heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment that requires this specific safety designation.
What does the "LI" trip function indicate?
The LI code means this thermal-magnetic breaker provides Long-Time (L) and Instantaneous (I) protection. The thermal mechanism protects against sustained overloads, while the magnetic mechanism trips instantly in the event of a short circuit. Both settings are fixed on this model.
Does this breaker feature a tripped indicator?

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
