The QBL32150 is a direct, exact-fit replacement for the obsolete Square D Q23150 molded case circuit breaker. The QBL model brings this 150A configuration into the current PowerPacT Q-Frame family.
What is the difference between the Square D QBL32150 and the QDL32150?
The difference is the short-circuit interrupting rating. The QBL32150 is rated for 10kA at 240VAC (the B interrupting tier), whereas the QDL32150 is rated for 25kA at 240VAC (the D interrupting tier). Both are 150A, 3-pole, unit-mount breakers with identical physical dimensions.
Which Square D panelboards and switchboards accept the QBL32150 circuit breaker?
This unit-mount Q-Frame breaker is designed for individual enclosures, metering devices, switchboards, and NQ series panelboards. When installing this as a main breaker in an NQ panelboard, you will need a specific main breaker adapter kit, such as the NQMB2Q.
Is the QBL32150 compatible with standard I-Line panelboards?
No. The QBL32150 is a unit-mount circuit breaker that features feed-thru lugs on both ends for cabled connections. It lacks the plug-on I-Line mounting bracket, so it cannot be installed on I-Line bus stacks. For I-Line panelboard mounting, you would need a QBA, QDA, or QGA frame breaker.

Expedited Shipments
