Yes. Siemens acquired the Murray brand and officially phased out the MP-T product line. The Siemens QP series is the manufacturer-approved direct replacement for legacy Murray breakers, meaning the Q370 can seamlessly replace an older Murray MP370 3-pole breaker.
How much panel space does the Q370 require?
The Q370 is a full-size standard QP series breaker that occupies 1 inch per pole. As a 3-pole breaker, it requires exactly three standard 1-inch spaces in your load center or panelboard.
Is the Siemens Q370 HACR rated for HVAC applications?
Yes. This 70A thermal-magnetic breaker is HACR rated, making it fully approved for protecting heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration branch circuits.
Can I install this breaker in a GE, Eaton, or Square D panel?
No. The Q370 is UL listed exclusively for use in compatible Siemens load centers, Siemens P1 panelboards, and approved legacy Murray or ITE enclosures. Installing it in other manufacturers' panels violates UL listings and electrical codes.
What protection does the LI trip function provide?
The LI designation means the breaker features Long-Time and Instantaneous trip functions. The long-time thermal element protects against sustained overloads, while the instantaneous magnetic element clears severe short circuits immediately.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
