It utilizes a plug-on I-Line connection on the line side to attach directly to the panel bus, and features mechanical lugs on the load side for wire termination.
What is the recommended lug torque for this breaker?
The load side lugs should be torqued to 248 lb-in (28 N.m) when using 4 AWG to 300 kcmil copper or aluminum wire.
Can I use aluminum wire with the QDA221003?
Yes, the factory-installed lugs are rated for both aluminum and copper conductors ranging from 4 AWG to 300 kcmil.
What is the difference between Square D QBA, QDA, QGA, and QJA breakers?
The second letter in the catalog prefix indicates the maximum interrupting rating. At 240VAC, the QBA is rated for 10kA, the QDA for 25kA, the QGA for 65kA, and the QJA for 100kA.
Does this breaker provide ground fault protection?
No, this is a standard thermal-magnetic breaker with long-time and instantaneous trip functions. It does not include ground fault or arc fault protection.

Expedited Shipments
