This breaker features an I-Line plug-in connection and is designed specifically for Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. It mounts directly to the internal busbar via its integrated plug-on jaw mechanism.
What is the modern replacement for the legacy FC34015 circuit breaker?
For new installations or panel upgrades, this legacy F-Frame breaker is replaced by the Square D PowerPact H-Frame HJA36015. The HJA36015 provides the same 15A, 3-pole configuration, I-Line mounting, and 65kAIC at 480VAC interrupting rating as the original unit.
Can the trip settings on the FC34015 be adjusted?
No. This breaker features a traditional thermal-magnetic trip unit with fixed thermal and fixed magnetic settings. It provides standard long-time and instantaneous (LI) overcurrent protection without dial adjustability.
Is the FC34015 suitable for use in DC electrical systems?
Yes. In addition to its standard 240VAC and 480VAC ratings, this thermal-magnetic breaker is certified for DC systems up to 250VDC, providing a 10kA interrupting rating.
Does the FC34015 require a separate mounting kit for installation?
No. The breaker has an integrated I-Line jaw mechanism on the line side, allowing it to lock directly onto the busbar of a compatible Square D I-Line panelboard without requiring additional mounting brackets or hardware.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
