The EGB26020 is an E-Frame bolt-on breaker designed exclusively for use in Square D NF series panelboards.
What is the difference between Square D EDB, EGB, and EJB circuit breakers?
The middle letter designates the interrupting capacity at 480Y/277VAC. EDB breakers are rated at 18kAIC, EGB breakers are rated at 35kAIC, and EJB breakers are rated at 65kAIC. They share the same physical footprint and mount in the same NF panelboards.
Can I use the EGB26020 to replace an EDB26020?
Yes. The EGB26020 has a higher interrupting rating (35kAIC at 480Y/277VAC) than the EDB26020 (18kAIC). Upgrading to a higher AIC rating is acceptable as long as all other specifications match your application requirements.
What are the lug torque specifications for the EGB26020?
For 14 to 10 AWG wire, torque the lugs to 34.5 lb-in. For 8 to 6 AWG wire, torque the lugs to 49.6 lb-in.
Does the EGB26020 include equipment ground fault protection?
No. The standard EGB26020 provides thermal-magnetic overload and short-circuit protection only. Breakers with integrated 30mA equipment ground fault protection require an EPD suffix in the catalog number.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
