This bolt-on E-frame breaker is designed specifically for use in Square D NF series panelboards.
What is the difference between Square D EDB, EGB, and EJB circuit breakers?
The primary difference is their interrupting rating at 480Y/277VAC. The EDB is rated at 18kA, the EGB is rated at 35kA, and the EJB is rated at 65kA. They share the same physical footprint and all mount in NF panelboards.
What is the recommended tightening torque for the lugs on the EGB36020?
The recommended tightening torque for the aluminum lugs is 30 lb-in (3.4 N.m) when terminating 14-6 AWG copper or 12-6 AWG aluminum conductors.
Can the EGB36020 be backfed for solar or generator applications?
Yes, Square D EGB circuit breakers can be backfed for AC applications. However, they are not DC rated. When used as a backfed main in an NF panelboard, a backfed main breaker barrier (such as part number NFBFMB20) is required.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
