This breaker is engineered specifically for bolt-on installation in Square D NF series lighting and distribution panelboards.
What is the recommended tightening torque for the wire terminals?
The load-side lugs should be torqued to 30 lbf-in (3.4 N-m) for both copper and aluminum wire sizes from 14 AWG to 6 AWG.
Can the EGB34015 be reverse-fed?
Yes. Standard EGB circuit breakers do not have line and load markings, which allows them to be backfed for use as a main breaker in suitable panel applications.
What is the difference between the EDB34015, EGB34015, and EJB34015?
These E-frame circuit breakers have identical physical dimensions and fit the same NF panelboards, but they offer different interrupting ratings. At 480Y/277VAC, the EDB is rated for 18kAIC, the EGB is rated for 35kAIC, and the EJB is rated for 65kAIC.
Can this breaker be used on a straight 480V ungrounded delta system?
No. The 480Y/277VAC designation is a slash rating. This indicates the breaker is only approved for use on solidly grounded wye systems where the maximum line-to-ground voltage does not exceed 277VAC.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
