The QHB230 is a bolt-on circuit breaker designed for use in Square D NQ and legacy NQOD panelboards. It cannot be used in standard QO load centers, which require plug-on breakers.
Can I use the QHB230 to replace a QOB230?
Yes. The QHB230 shares the same physical dimensions and bolt-on mounting as the QOB230 but offers a much higher interrupting rating (65kA vs. 10kA). It is a safe, upgraded replacement for a QOB230 in NQ or NQOD panelboards.
What does the H in the QHB230 part number indicate?
The H designates it as a high-interrupting circuit breaker. While standard QOB breakers typically have a 10kA interrupting rating, the QHB series is rated for 65kA at 120/240VAC.
Is the QHB230 HACR rated?

What is the recommended terminal torque for the QHB230?

No, the QHB230 is a standard thermal-magnetic circuit breaker. It does not provide ground-fault (GFCI) or arc-fault (AFCI) protection.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
