6 answersWhich panelboards are compatible with the EHB14060 circuit breaker?
This breaker is designed exclusively for use in legacy Square D NEHB panelboards. It will not fit in modern NF, NQ, or NQOD panelboards.
Is the Square D EHB series obsolete?
Yes, the EHB series and the corresponding NEHB panelboards are legacy products and are no longer manufactured by Schneider Electric. You must source exact EHB replacements to maintain existing NEHB panels.
Can I use an EDB circuit breaker to replace an EHB14060?
No. EDB breakers are designed for modern Square D NF panelboards and have a different physical footprint. They cannot be installed in legacy NEHB panelboards. If you are upgrading the entire panelboard to an NF series, you will need to transition to EDB breakers.
Can this 1-pole breaker be used on 277V commercial lighting circuits?
Yes, the EHB14060 is fully rated for 277VAC applications. It is suitable for commercial 277V lighting and equipment circuits, provided the available fault current does not exceed its 14kA interrupt rating at that voltage.
Does the EHB14060 feature a visual trip indicator?
Yes, EHB series breakers include Square D Visi-Trip technology. When the breaker trips, the handle moves to a center position and a highly visible red indicator appears, allowing for quick identification of the faulted circuit in the panel.
Is the EHB14060 SWD rated for switching fluorescent lighting?
No. Switching Duty (SWD) ratings are restricted to 15A and 20A circuit breakers. As a 60A breaker, the EHB14060 is not SWD rated and should not be used as a switch for fluorescent lighting loads.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
