This model is designed specifically for legacy Square D NEHB panelboards. Its bolt-on connection is uniquely configured to mount onto the NEHB bus system.
Can I replace the EHB14030 with a modern EDB series circuit breaker?
No, EDB breakers are not interchangeable with EHB breakers. EDB models are designed for modern NF panelboards and will not fit onto the bus of a legacy NEHB panelboard. You must use an EHB breaker for an NEHB panel interior.
Is the EHB14030 suitable for commercial lighting systems?
Yes. Due to its 277V rating, it is widely utilized for 277V commercial fluorescent and LED lighting circuits. It operates safely for switching duty applications within its capacity limit.
How does the Visi-Trip feature work on the EHB14030?
When an overload or short circuit causes the breaker to trip, the handle snaps to a center position and reveals a highly visible red indicator flag. This allows personnel to quickly identify the tripped circuit without manually testing each breaker.
What are the approved conductor temperature ratings for the EHB14030 lugs?
The mechanical lugs on 15A to 30A EHB circuit breakers are suitable for use with copper or aluminum conductors rated for 60 degrees C or 75 degrees C.
Does the EHB14030 provide arc fault or ground fault protection?
No. This is a standard thermal-magnetic circuit breaker offering long-time and instantaneous protection against overloads and short circuits. It does not feature AFCI or GFCI sensing circuitry.

Expedited Shipments
