This bolt-on miniature circuit breaker is specifically designed for use in Square D NF series panelboards. It is not compatible with NQ or QO load centers.
What is the difference between the EJB24080, EGB24080, and EDB24080?
These are all 80A, 2-pole E-frame breakers for NF panelboards, but they have different interrupting ratings at 480Y/277VAC. The EDB24080 is rated for 18kAIC, the EGB24080 for 35kAIC, and the EJB24080 is the highest tier at 65kAIC.
What wire sizes are accepted by the lugs on the EJB24080?
The factory-installed AL100FD lugs accept 14 to 2/0 AWG copper wire, or 12 to 2/0 AWG aluminum wire.
Does the EJB24080 mount on a standard DIN rail?
No. The EJB24080 is a bolt-on circuit breaker that mounts directly to the busbar of a Square D NF panelboard.
Can I use the EJB24080 on a 120/240VAC system?
Yes. While it has a maximum voltage rating of 480Y/277VAC, it is fully rated for 120/240VAC systems, where it provides an increased interrupting rating of 100kAIC.
Can I install this breaker in a Square D I-Line panelboard?
No. E-frame breakers like the EJB24080 are designed exclusively for NF panelboards. I-Line panelboards require I-Line specific breakers with plug-on jaw connections.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
