The BC suffix indicates the phase connection of the breaker. It is factory-configured to plug specifically into the B and C phases on the stacked busbar of a Square D I-Line panelboard.
What is the modern replacement for the legacy Square D F-frame breakers?
The legacy F-frame MCCB line has been superseded by the Square D PowerPact H-frame series for new installations. However, FH breakers remain available as exact drop-in replacements for existing I-Line panelboards.
How does the I-Line mounting system secure the breaker to the panelboard?
The breaker features plug-on jaws that press directly onto the stacked bus assembly of an I-Line panelboard. A retaining screw is then fastened into a round hole on the backpan to secure the off end of the F-frame breaker.
What protection functions are provided by the LI trip unit?
The thermal-magnetic trip unit includes fixed long-time (L) thermal protection to prevent standard overloads, and fixed instantaneous (I) magnetic protection to quickly clear severe short circuits.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
