This bolt-on breaker is designed specifically for legacy Square D NQO and NQOB panelboards.
Can a standard QOB breaker directly replace the Q1B380?
No. While a QOB380 can replace a Q1B380 in NQO and NQOB panelboards, it is not a direct drop-in. You must use a Square D SK5668 mounting assembly kit, which includes the necessary bus connectors and screws to adapt the QOB breaker to the legacy Q1B space.
What are the wire size limits for the Q1B380 box lugs?
The terminal lugs accept wire gauges ranging from #4 AWG minimum to 2/0 AWG maximum. Ensure your conductors are sized appropriately for an 80A load per NEC guidelines.
What does the LI trip function code mean on the Q1B380?
The LI designation indicates that the breaker's thermal-magnetic trip unit provides Long-Time (thermal) overload protection and Instantaneous (magnetic) short-circuit protection. Both settings are fixed on this model.
Can the Q1B380 be used in 480V systems?
No. The Q1B380 has a maximum voltage rating of 240VAC and an interrupting capacity of 10kAIC at 240V. It is not rated for 480V applications.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
