The EGB26030 is an E-frame breaker designed specifically for use in Square D NF series lighting panelboards. It is a bolt-on breaker and will not fit NQ, I-Line, or QO load centers.
Can the EGB26030 be used to replace an EDB26030?
Yes. The EGB26030 has a higher interrupting rating (35kAIC at 480Y/277VAC) compared to the EDB26030 (18kAIC). It shares the same physical dimensions and mounting, making it a direct, upgraded replacement for the EDB26030 in NF panelboards.
