Will the EJB34015 fit Square D NQ or I-Line panelboards?
No. E-frame breakers like the EJB34015 are strictly for NF panelboards. NQ panels require QO or QOB breakers, and I-Line panels require I-Line bracketed molded case circuit breakers.
Can the EJB34015 be used on a 480V Delta system?
No. The 480Y/277VAC rating indicates it is strictly for solidly grounded Wye systems where the voltage to ground does not exceed 277V. It is not rated for ungrounded or corner-grounded Delta systems.
What is the difference between the EJB34015, EDB34015, and EGB34015?
All three share the exact same E-frame dimensions, mounting, and trip functions. The only difference is the short-circuit interrupting capacity (AIC) at 480Y/277VAC. The EDB is rated for 18kA, the EGB for 35kA, and the EJB provides the highest tier at 65kA.
Can I use the EJB34015 to replace an EDB34015 or EGB34015?
Yes. Because the EJB34015 has a higher interrupting rating (65kAIC at 480Y/277VAC), it meets or exceeds the specifications of the EDB (18kAIC) and EGB (35kAIC). It serves as a direct, code-compliant upgrade for both.
What is the tightening torque for the lugs on the EJB34015?
The factory aluminum lugs require a tightening torque of 30 lb-in (3.4 N-m) for both 14-6 AWG copper and 12-6 AWG aluminum conductors.
How much panel space does the EJB34015 require?

Expedited Shipments
