Description
Engineered for industrial applications, the Square D JGL26175 is a 2-pole, 175A molded case circuit breaker from the PowerPacT J-Frame family. This unit mount breaker installs into Square D J-Frame enclosures, motor control centers, and switchboards, accepting 4 AWG to 4/0 AWG wire via AL175JD lugs. Equipped with a thermal-magnetic trip unit, it provides long-time and instantaneous (LI) protection with an adjustable magnetic trip. As a unit-mount, feed-thru breaker, it is designed for installation in Square D J-Frame enclosures, standard switchboards, motor control centers, and industrial control panels. It is not compatible with I-Line panelboards.
Can I use the JGL26175 in an I-Line panelboard?
No. The JGL26175 is a unit-mount breaker with line and load lugs. For an I-Line panelboard, you need the I-Line version, catalog number JGA26175.
What is the recommended lug torque for the JGL26175 circuit breaker?
The standard AL175JD lugs on this 175A breaker require a tightening torque of 225 lb-in (25 N.m) using a 5/16-inch hex bit.
What is the adjustable magnetic trip range for this 175A J-Frame breaker?

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.

Expedited Shipments
