This PowerPacT Q-frame breaker is designed for use in Square D individual enclosures, switchboards, and panelboards that accept unit-mount Q-frame breakers.
How is the QJL22100 circuit breaker mounted?
The QJL22100 is a unit-mount circuit breaker. It installs using mounting screws and lug connections rather than plugging onto a busbar or using an I-Line connection.
What does the J in the QJL22100 part number indicate?
In the Square D PowerPacT Q-frame series, the J indicates the interrupting rating. The QJL series provides a 100kA interrupting capacity at 240V, which is the highest rating in the Q-frame family.
Can I use the QJL22100 to replace a QDL22100 or QGL22100?
Yes. The QJL22100 shares the exact same physical dimensions and mounting footprint as the QDL22100 and QGL22100. Upgrading to the QJL provides a higher interrupting rating of 100kA.
Can the QJL22100 be reverse fed?
Yes. Square D PowerPacT Q-frame thermal-magnetic circuit breakers, including the QJL22100, can be forward or reverse fed.
Does the QJL22100 have an adjustable trip unit?
No. This breaker features a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. Both the long-time and instantaneous (LI) trip functions are factory set and non-adjustable.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
