6 answersDoes the Square D QO2020 have a CTL rejection clip?
No. The QO2020 is a non-CTL tandem breaker, meaning it does not have a mounting rejection hook. It is designed for older pre-CTL QO load centers or newer QO Plug-on Neutral (PoN) load centers that specifically accept non-CTL tandems. If your panel requires a CTL notched breaker, you need the QOT2020 instead.
Will the QO2020 tandem breaker fit into a Square D Homeline panel?
No. QO series circuit breakers have a 3/4-inch width per space and use a different mounting design than the 1-inch Homeline series. You must use HOMT series tandem breakers for Homeline panels.
Can I use the two circuits on the QO2020 for a multi-wire branch circuit with a shared neutral?
No. Both 20-amp poles on this tandem breaker draw power from the same phase (bus leg) when installed. A multi-wire branch circuit requires two circuits on opposite phases to prevent overloading the shared neutral wire.
Is this 20-amp tandem breaker approved for use with HVAC equipment?
Yes. The QO2020 is HACR rated, meaning it is certified for use with heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment that requires this specific safety designation.
Are QO2020C and QO2020CP the exact same breaker as the QO2020?
Yes. The base catalog number is QO2020. The C and CP suffixes simply denote different retail packaging methods used by Schneider Electric, such as blister packs or clamshells, but the physical breaker is identical.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
