This breaker is designed for Eaton BR series load centers. Because Eaton acquired Cutler-Hammer, Westinghouse, and Bryant, it is also the direct, UL-listed replacement for legacy panels from those brands that accept Type BR breakers.
Does the BQ2502115 require a notched bus bar?
Yes. This is a CTL (Circuit Total Limitation) breaker equipped with a rejection tab. It must be installed in a panel with notched bus stabs designed to accept tandem or quadplex breakers.
How much panel space does this quadplex breaker require?
The BQ2502115 requires two standard 1-inch spaces to provide four independent poles of protection.
How are the circuits configured on the BQ2502115?
