Part of Eaton's BR family, the BQ215250 quadplex breaker combines a 15A two-pole and a 50A two-pole circuit. This configuration accommodates heavy-duty appliances without requiring a costly panel upgrade. The breaker mounts into standard Eaton BR load centers and remains backward compatible with legacy Westinghouse, Bryant, and Challenger panelboards. It substitutes for BRD215250 and BQC215250 models. The BQ215250 is a CTL (Circuit Total Limitation) breaker. It features a rejection clip and is designed for use in Eaton BR load centers with notched bus stabs. If your panel does not have notched stabs, you will need a non-CTL breaker like the BRD215250.
How are the 15A and 50A circuits configured on the BQ215250?
This quadplex breaker features a 15A two-pole circuit on the outer poles and a 50A two-pole circuit on the center poles.
Does the BQ215250 feature an independent or common trip?
The BQ215250 features an independent trip function. The outer 15A circuit and the inner 50A circuit trip independently of one another. For a common trip configuration where all poles trip synchronously, you would need a BQC series breaker such as the BQC215250.
Can I use the BQ215250 in older Westinghouse or Bryant panels?

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
