Yes. The CA3225 breaker was originally manufactured by Westinghouse, and later produced under the Cutler-Hammer and Eaton brands. A CA3225 from any of these brands will share the exact same physical dimensions and electrical specifications.
What panelboards can I install the CA3225 in?
The CA3225 is compatible with legacy Westinghouse and Cutler-Hammer CDP, FDP, and older Pow-R-Line panelboards designed to accept C-frame molded case circuit breakers.
What does unit mount mean for the CA3225?
As a unit-mount breaker, the CA3225 features lugs on both the line and load sides for cable-in, cable-out connections. It is typically surface-mounted independently rather than bolting or plugging directly to a panelboard busbar.
Does this breaker support both aluminum and copper wire?
Yes, the factory lugs on the CA3225 are rated for both Aluminum (Al) and Copper (Cu) conductors ranging from 3 AWG up to 300 kcmil.
Can I adjust the trip settings on the CA3225?
No. This breaker features a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip unit. Neither the long-time overload nor the instantaneous short-circuit pickup levels can be adjusted.
Can I use the CA3225 in a system with 22,000 available fault amps?
No. The CA3225 has a maximum interrupting rating of 10kA at 240VAC. If your system requires a 22kAIC or 65kAIC rating, you must source a higher-rated C-frame or F-frame replacement.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
