The CH245 is designed exclusively for Eaton and Cutler-Hammer Type CH load centers. It will not fit in BR series or other manufacturers' panels.
How much panel space does the CH245 require?
Type CH breakers feature a 3/4-inch width per pole. As a 2-pole breaker, the CH245 requires two spaces, taking up 1.5 inches of total panel space.
What is the correct hold-down kit for back-feeding the CH245?
When used as a back-fed main breaker, the CH245 requires the Eaton CH125RB hold-down retainer kit to secure it to the load center in compliance with NEC requirements.
Is the CH245 HACR rated?
Yes, Eaton Type CH breakers, including the CH245, are HACR rated for use with heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
What is the difference between the CH245 and the CHF245?

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.

When our main breaker frizzed out, the option we were presented with was replacing the entire panel and service due to the type and part - no longer produced for replacement parts. It would be a $6500 replacement.
We'll likely have to do it at some point but, for now, the replacement breaker we were able to source from Superbreakers (with a $25 warranty) was $5900 less expensive. installation ran a few hundred dollars and the tech said the part looked to be in excellent condition and was prepped for install as he would have hoped.
