This breaker is designed exclusively for Eaton CH series load centers. It requires two 3/4-inch spaces and connects to the panel bus bar via a plug-on connection. It is not compatible with Eaton BR panels or load centers from other manufacturers.
What is the ground fault trip threshold for the CH260GFT?
This breaker provides Class A personnel ground fault protection. It is designed to trip when it detects a ground fault current of 5 mA, in accordance with UL 943 standards.
How is the neutral connection made for the CH260GFT?
This breaker features a pigtail neutral. The coiled white pigtail wire must be connected directly to the neutral bus bar in the load center to power the internal ground fault sensing circuitry.
What wire sizes are accepted by the terminals on the CH260GFT?
The box lug terminals on this 60A breaker accept 14 AWG to 4 AWG copper or aluminum wire. Ensure conductors are sized appropriately for the 60A rating and application.
Can I use this breaker to replace an older Cutler-Hammer CH260GFT?

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.

When our main breaker frizzed out, the option we were presented with was replacing the entire panel and service due to the type and part - no longer produced for replacement parts. It would be a $6500 replacement.
We'll likely have to do it at some point but, for now, the replacement breaker we were able to source from Superbreakers (with a $25 warranty) was $5900 less expensive. installation ran a few hundred dollars and the tech said the part looked to be in excellent condition and was prepped for install as he would have hoped.
