This breaker is designed for use in Eaton and Cutler-Hammer Type PB and Type PH panelboards, as well as compatible meter panels and multi-metering modules.
Can I install the CHB370 in a standard residential load center?
No. The CHB370 is a bolt-on circuit breaker designed specifically for commercial and industrial Type PB and PH panelboards. It will not fit in standard residential plug-on load centers that require Type CH or Type BR breakers.
What does the LI trip function indicate on this breaker?
The LI designation means the breaker provides Long-Time and Instantaneous trip functions. Long-Time handles sustained overloads, while Instantaneous trips immediately during severe short circuits. Both settings are fixed and cannot be adjusted in the field.
Is the CHB370 considered an Eaton or Cutler-Hammer product?

Expedited Shipments
