Will the Eaton CL220 fit in a Square D QO or Eaton CH load center?
No. Square D QO and Eaton CH panels require 3/4-inch format breakers. The CL220 is a 1-inch format breaker and will only fit compatible 1-inch load centers.

Does the CL220 provide a common trip for 240V circuits?
Yes. The CL220 features an internal common trip mechanism. If an overload or short circuit occurs on either leg of the 240V circuit, both poles will trip simultaneously to safely disconnect power to the load.
What type of wire can I use with the CL220 terminals?
The box lugs accept 14 AWG to 4 AWG wire and are rated for both copper (Cu) and aluminum (Al) conductors. Always check the side label of the breaker for the correct torque specifications prior to installation.
Can I use the CL220 in a commercial 277/480V panel?
No. The CL220 is rated for 120/240VAC maximum and is intended for residential or light commercial single-phase systems. It cannot be used in 277/480V applications.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
