What wire sizes and materials are accepted by the standard lugs on the EHD1050?
The standard load side lugs accept 14 AWG to 1/0 AWG wire. They are rated for use with both copper and aluminum conductors.
Is the EHD1050 suitable for reverse feed applications?
Yes, this breaker supports reverse feed applications, allowing line power to be connected to either the top or bottom terminals.
What is the difference between the EHD1050 and the FD1050?
Both are 50-amp, single-pole F-Frame breakers with identical physical dimensions, but they have different interrupting ratings. The EHD1050 provides standard interrupting capacity, while the FD1050 offers a higher interrupting rating for systems with greater fault current levels.
What does the LI trip function indicate on this breaker?
The LI designation means the breaker uses a thermal-magnetic trip unit with Long-Time and Instantaneous protection. The thermal element provides a delayed trip for mild overloads, while the magnetic element trips instantly during a short circuit.
Does the EHD1050 provide GFCI or AFCI protection?
No. This is a standard thermal-magnetic circuit breaker. It does not include ground fault circuit interrupter or arc fault circuit interrupter capabilities.
Can this breaker be mounted on a standard DIN rail?
No. The EHD1050 is a bolt-on circuit breaker designed specifically to bolt directly to the busbars in compatible Eaton enclosures. It is not compatible with DIN rail mounting.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
