6 answersDoes the standard EHD3020 include lug terminals on both the line and load ends?
By default, the standard EHD3020 includes lug terminals on the load side only, as the line side is designed to bolt directly to a panelboard bus. If your application requires cable connections on both ends, you will need the EHD3020L variant or a separate line-side lug kit.
Which enclosures and panelboards are compatible with the EHD3020?
This F-frame circuit breaker is designed to mount into Eaton Series C panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers. Appropriate bolt-on mounting hardware is required to secure the line side directly to the bus.
Are there direct replacements if my system requires a higher interrupting rating?
Yes. If your system requires a short-circuit rating higher than 14kA at 480VAC within the same F-frame footprint, you can upgrade to the Eaton FD3020, HFD3020, or FDC3020 breakers. These series offer progressively higher interrupting capabilities without changing the physical dimensions.
Can I adjust the trip settings on this circuit breaker?
No. The EHD3020 features fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip units. The long-time (overload) and instantaneous (short-circuit) trip thresholds are factory-set and cannot be field-adjusted for selective coordination.
Is the EHD3020 suitable for reverse feed applications?
Yes. Standard Eaton Series C F-frame circuit breakers, including the EHD series, do not have line and load restrictions and are fully suitable for reverse feed installations.
Is this breaker rated for HVAC equipment?
Yes. The EHD3020 is HACR rated, ensuring it meets the safety and operational requirements for protecting heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration motor loads.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
