What does the L in the FD1060L catalog number indicate?
The L indicates that the breaker includes factory-installed line and load lugs. For this 60A model, the standard lugs accept 14 to 1/0 AWG copper or aluminum wire.
What are the torque specifications for the standard lugs on this breaker?
For the standard 14 to 1/0 AWG slotted steel lugs (catalog number 3T100FB), the required torque depends on the wire size. Use 35 lb-in for 14 to 10 AWG, 40 lb-in for 8 AWG, 45 lb-in for 6 to 4 AWG, and 50 lb-in for 3 to 1/0 AWG conductors.

Expedited Shipments

The breaker we purchased was as advertised. The breaker fit perfectly. We purchased reconditioned breaker and it seems to be working properly, accordingly to the golf course maintenance team that supervises the irrigation system.
Next day shipping came quickly even though the 4th of July was coming.
I wish it came with new installations hardware but that isn’t a deal breaker.
