Can the FD2040L circuit breaker be reverse fed?
Yes. Eaton Series C F-frame thermal magnetic circuit breakers are suitable for reverse feed applications.
Are the trip settings adjustable on the FD2040L?
No. This breaker features a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip unit. The long time overload and instantaneous short circuit trip functions cannot be field adjusted.
How is the FD2040L installed in an enclosure?
It is a unit mount, feed-thru breaker. It bolts directly to the backpan or mounting surface of Eaton Series C panelboards, switchboards, or individual enclosures, rather than plugging into a busbar.
How should the FD2040L be wired for 250VDC applications?
When used in DC systems, the breaker is rated for 250VDC at 10kAIC. For grounded insulated load configurations, the interruption rating is based on the number of poles wired in series that break the ungrounded leg of the power supply.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments

The breaker we purchased was as advertised. The breaker fit perfectly. We purchased reconditioned breaker and it seems to be working properly, accordingly to the golf course maintenance team that supervises the irrigation system.
Next day shipping came quickly even though the 4th of July was coming.
I wish it came with new installations hardware but that isn’t a deal breaker.
