Description
Built for industrial applications, the Eaton FDB3045L is a 3-pole, 45A molded case circuit breaker from the Series C family. This unit mount MCCB installs into Eaton switchboards, motor control centers, and F-Frame enclosures. It includes line and load lugs for wiring. For modern upgrades, this model is replaced by the PDG23F0045TFFJ. Rated 14kAIC at 480VAC, it features a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. This breaker is designed for use in Eaton Series C panelboards, switchboards, motor control centers, and standard F-Frame enclosures.
Can I use the FDB3045L to replace an FD3045L?
Only if your system requires 14kA or less of interrupting capacity at 480V. The FD3045L has a higher interrupting rating (35kA at 480V) than the FDB3045L (14kA at 480V). Always verify your panel's required fault current rating before downgrading AIC.
What is the difference between the FDB3045 and the FDB3045L?
The L suffix indicates that the breaker comes factory-equipped with both line and load side lug terminals. The standard FDB3045 typically comes with load terminals only.
What wire sizes are accepted by the lugs on the FDB3045L?
The included line and load lugs accept copper or aluminum wire ranging from 14 AWG to 1/0 AWG.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
