Yes. Eaton acquired the Westinghouse distribution equipment division. The current Eaton FDC3015L is a direct physical and electrical replacement for legacy Westinghouse and Cutler-Hammer breakers with the exact same catalog number.
Is the FDC3015L interchangeable with FD or HFD series breakers?
Yes. The FDC3015L shares the same physical F-Frame dimensions as FD and HFD breakers. It can be used as a drop-in replacement or upgrade, offering a higher interrupting capacity than the standard FD or high-interrupting HFD models.
What does the L at the end of the FDC3015L catalog number indicate?
The L signifies that the breaker is supplied with standard factory-installed line and load lugs. Without this suffix, the breaker would be shipped without terminals.
Can this breaker be DIN rail mounted?
No. The FDC3015L is a unit mount molded case circuit breaker designed for bolt-on installation in panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers. It requires a specific base mounting hardware kit for standalone enclosure installation.
Does this breaker provide ground fault or equipment protection?
No. The FDC3015L features a standard thermal-magnetic trip unit with fixed long-time and instantaneous (LI) functions. It provides standard overload and short-circuit protection but does not include ground fault or earth leakage protection.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
