This 1-inch plug-on breaker is compatible with Eaton BR, legacy Bryant, Challenger, and Westinghouse load centers. It will not fit in Eaton Type CH panels or panels from other manufacturers like Square D or Siemens.
How is the neutral wired for the GFCB120?
This breaker uses a pigtail neutral connection. The coiled white pigtail wire must be terminated at the panel's neutral bus bar, while the load neutral wire connects directly to the designated neutral terminal on the breaker.
What is the ground fault trip threshold for the GFCB120?
The GFCB120 is a Class A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI). It is calibrated to trip when it detects a ground fault leakage current of 5mA.
Does this breaker provide combination arc fault (AFCI) protection?
No. The GFCB120 provides standard thermal-magnetic overcurrent protection and ground fault (GFCI) protection. It does not offer arc fault detection. If AFCI or dual-function protection is required by code, a different breaker type is needed.
What wire sizes are accepted by the GFCB120 terminals?
The box lug terminals on this breaker accept copper or aluminum conductors ranging from 14 AWG to 4 AWG.
Are the GFCB120 and BR120GF the same breaker?
Yes. Eaton uses both the GFCB120 and BR120GF catalog numbers for their 20A, 1-pole BR-series GFCI breakers. They share the same physical dimensions, trip characteristics, and panel compatibility.
Does the GFCB120 carry SWD and HACR ratings?
Yes. Like most 15A and 20A single-pole breakers in the Eaton BR family, the GFCB120 is Switching Duty (SWD) rated for controlling fluorescent lighting loads and is marked for use with Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HACR) equipment.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
