7 answersWhat type of panels or enclosures is the QC2070 compatible with?
The QC2070 is a feed-thru, cable-in and cable-out breaker designed for control panels, industrial enclosures, and HVAC equipment. It does not plug onto a load center busbar like standard residential breakers.
Can I mount the QC2070 on a standard DIN rail?
Yes, this breaker can be mounted to a standard 35mm DIN rail, but it requires a separate DIN rail adapter bracket, catalog number QCDINADAPT.
How are the line and load connections made on this breaker?
Because it is a feed-thru breaker, it does not plug into a busbar. Both the line and load connections are made via the built-in box lugs, which accept 4 AWG to 1/0 AWG copper or aluminum wire.
Can the QC2070 be used in DC control circuits?
Yes, the QC2070 is dual-rated for both AC and DC applications. This makes it suitable for DC control panels and enclosures, provided the system voltage does not exceed 62.5VDC.
Are the trip settings adjustable on the QC2070?
No, the QC2070 features fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip settings. The long-time and instantaneous trip functions cannot be modified in the field.
Does this breaker include ground fault or arc fault protection?
No, the QC2070 provides standard thermal magnetic overcurrent and short-circuit protection. It does not include GFCI or AFCI circuitry.
Is the Cutler-Hammer QC2070 the same as the Eaton QC2070?
Yes, Eaton acquired Cutler-Hammer and continues to manufacture the Quicklag QC series under the Eaton brand. The QC2070 catalog number remains identical across both brand names.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
