The Quicklag QC series uses a cable-in, cable-out design. Instead of plugging or bolting onto a panelboard busbar, both the line and load connections are wired directly to the breaker's box lugs. This makes it ideal for standalone control panels and enclosures.

The difference is the mounting configuration. The QC series utilizes a front-mounted, cable-in and cable-out design for panel mounting. The QB series is designed for bolt-on installation directly to the busbar of a compatible panelboard.

Because the QC2100 is natively designed for flat panel mounting, you must use a dedicated adapter bracket to secure it to a standard 35mm DIN rail. The correct Eaton adapter for Quicklag Type C breakers is catalog number QCDINADAPT.

A 120/240VAC slash rating means the breaker is approved for single-phase systems where line-to-line voltage is 240V, but the voltage from either line to ground does not exceed 120V. It is not rated for straight 240V systems like corner-grounded delta configurations.

No. The QC2100 features a thermal-magnetic trip unit with fixed long-time (thermal) and fixed instantaneous (magnetic) trip parameters. They are calibrated at the factory for a strict 100-amp profile and cannot be field-adjusted.
