This breaker is designed for Eaton Type BR load centers that feature notched bus stabs. Because it is a CTL (Circuit Total Limiting) breaker, it will not seat properly in non-CTL panels or unnotched bus positions.
Can I use the BQC225225 in older Bryant or Westinghouse panels?
Yes. Eaton acquired the Cutler-Hammer, Bryant, and Westinghouse load center lines. The modern Eaton Type BR series, including the BQC225225, is the UL-listed OEM replacement for legacy Bryant, Westinghouse, and Challenger panels that accept BR-type quad breakers.
How does the common trip feature work on the BQC225225?
The BQC series features internal common trip mechanisms for both the inner and outer circuits. If a fault occurs on one leg of the 25A outer circuit or the 25A inner circuit, both poles of that specific circuit will trip simultaneously, making it suitable for 240V loads.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
