Yes, the BRCAF115 is the direct replacement for the legacy BR115AF and BR115CAF circuit breakers. It fits the same Type BR load centers and provides updated combination arc fault protection.
What is the difference between the BRCAF115 and the BRP115AF?
The BRCAF115 features a pigtail neutral wire that must be connected to the panel's neutral bus bar. The BRP115AF is a Plug-On Neutral (PON) breaker that connects directly to the neutral bar without a pigtail. The BRCAF115 can be installed in both standard and PON Type BR load centers, while the BRP115AF requires a PON-compatible panel.
What type of arc fault protection does the BRCAF115 provide?
This breaker is a Combination Type Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI). It detects and mitigates both high-current parallel arcing faults and low-current series arcing faults, meeting modern NEC requirements for residential living spaces.
How do I troubleshoot a tripped BRCAF115 breaker?
This breaker includes a built-in diagnostic LED. When the breaker trips, the LED will display a specific blink code to help you identify whether the trip was caused by a series arc, a parallel arc, or a standard thermal-magnetic overload.
How is the neutral connection wired on this breaker?
The BRCAF115 is a pigtail-style breaker. The coiled white pigtail wire must be routed and secured directly to the neutral bus bar in your load center, while the circuit's neutral wire connects to the breaker's load neutral terminal.
Will this breaker fit in a Square D or Siemens panel?
No. The BRCAF115 is exclusively designed for use in Eaton, Cutler-Hammer, or Bryant Type BR load centers. It is not listed or approved for use in other manufacturers' panels.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
