5 answersCan I use the FD2015 to replace an FDB2015 or HFD2015?
Yes. The FD, FDB, and HFD are all Series C F-frame breakers with identical physical dimensions and mounting. The difference is their interrupting capacity. The FD2015 has a 35kAIC rating at 480VAC, which is higher than the FDB but lower than the HFD. As long as your system does not require an interrupting rating higher than 35kAIC at 480VAC, the FD2015 is a compatible replacement.
Can the FD2015 be reverse fed?
Yes. Eaton Series C F-frame thermal-magnetic circuit breakers, including the FD2015, do not have line and load restrictions and are suitable for reverse feed applications.
Is there a difference between the Cutler-Hammer FD2015 and the Eaton FD2015?
No. Eaton acquired Cutler-Hammer, and the breakers are fully interchangeable. An FD2015 will have the exact same form, fit, and function regardless of whether the label says Eaton, Cutler-Hammer, or Westinghouse.
Is the FD2015 suitable for high intensity discharge (HID) lighting?
Yes. All Eaton F-frame thermal-magnetic circuit breakers rated from 10A to 50A, including the 15A FD2015, are suitable for HID use.
Does the FD2015 carry an HACR rating?
Yes. All Eaton Series C F-frame circuit breakers are HACR rated for use with heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping

The breaker we purchased was as advertised. The breaker fit perfectly. We purchased reconditioned breaker and it seems to be working properly, accordingly to the golf course maintenance team that supervises the irrigation system.
Next day shipping came quickly even though the 4th of July was coming.
I wish it came with new installations hardware but that isn’t a deal breaker.
