The "L" indicates that the breaker is supplied with both line and load side lugs installed from the factory.
Can I field-install internal accessories like a shunt trip in the FD3100L?
No. Eaton Series C F-frame breakers are factory sealed. Field installation of internal accessories is not recommended and will void the UL listing. You must order a breaker with the accessories factory installed.
How does the FD3100L mount in a panel?
It is a unit-mount, feed-thru circuit breaker. It bolts directly to the mounting pan or chassis rather than plugging onto a busbar.
What is the difference between the FD3100L, HFD3100L, and FDC3100L?
The primary difference is the interrupting rating at 480V. The standard FD3100L is rated for 35kAIC, the HFD3100L is rated for 65kAIC, and the FDC3100L is rated for 100kAIC. All three share the same physical F-frame dimensions and 100-amp rating.
Can I adjust the trip settings on the FD3100L?
No. The FD3100L features a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip unit. The Long-Time and Instantaneous trip functions are factory set and cannot be adjusted in the field.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.

The breaker we purchased was as advertised. The breaker fit perfectly. We purchased reconditioned breaker and it seems to be working properly, accordingly to the golf course maintenance team that supervises the irrigation system.
Next day shipping came quickly even though the 4th of July was coming.
I wish it came with new installations hardware but that isn’t a deal breaker.
