The L suffix in the FD3070L catalog number indicates that the circuit breaker comes factory-equipped with line and load side lug terminals. The FD3070 is the base breaker without lugs.
Can I use the Eaton FD3070L to replace an older Westinghouse FD3070L?
Yes. Eaton acquired the Westinghouse distribution equipment business, and the Eaton or Cutler-Hammer Series C FD3070L is the direct, exact replacement for the legacy Westinghouse FD3070L circuit breaker.
Is the FD3070L suitable for reverse feed applications?
Yes. Eaton Series C F-frame thermal-magnetic circuit breakers without specific Line and Load markings are suitable for reverse feed installations.
How must the FD3070L be wired for 250VDC applications?
When used in direct current (DC) applications up to 250VDC, the poles of the circuit breaker must be wired in series to achieve the 10kAIC DC interrupting rating.
Does the FD3070L provide GFCI or AFCI protection?
No. The FD3070L is a standard thermal-magnetic circuit breaker with long-time and instantaneous (LI) trip functions. It does not provide ground fault (GFCI) or arc fault (AFCI) protection.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
